- When
Heaven responds to you, earth cannot reject you. When
you are divinely visited, your life cannot corporate with failure.
- Divine
visitation is when evil cannot stop your redemption. It is when you are
reposition to recover all.
- Nothing
in life happens on its own; things are forced to happen.
- Divine
visitation is to be provoked; until you provoke it, your life will not go
forward.
- Every
action brings a reaction.

HOW TO PROVOKE DIVINE VISITATION
1.
THE
FORCE OF SACRIFICE
Sacrifice is painful but
gainful. Nothing touches the heart of God like sacrifice. It goes beyond your
convenience. Sacrifice is an offering that touches both the giver and the
receiver. John 3:16 – Jesus is the epitome of sacrifice.
In your midnight hour
(difficult times), apply the force of sacrifice – it dismantles the yoke of
afflictions (Gen. 22:15-18). Sacrifice is something you give that is beyond
you. Sacrifice is not always about money, you can sacrifice your time, body,
voice, whatever you have. Don’t complain when rendering service unto God.
Whenever you have spent time
to pray, fast, seeking the face of God and your situation does not change, try
giving a sacrificial gift – something painful (1King 3:3-5). Giving what is
convenient is not sacrifice; it is when you give what is beyond your
convenience that makes God look your way. What you offer you do not bear!
2.
THE
FORCE OF GOD’S UTTERANCE.
The word of God is the
pacesetter of divine visitation. You cannot be visited without the word of God.
It is an active agent of God’s visitation and intervention. The word of God is
the producer of power, it does not lack current (Eccl. 8:4, Prov. 107:20).
What is driving you determines
your destination – let the word of God drive you. Do not be moved by jealousy,
envy, gossip, etc. be moved by the word of God. If you are not word-inclined,
you cannot attract divine visitation - Heb. 4:12. Beware of what you hear –
“what takes you to God is of God but what takes you away from God is not of
God.” marry the word of God, apply it to your life – let it be real to you. God
is committed only to what He has spoken. Nothing changes destiny like God’s
word. When you make man the focus of your life, they will sink you but when you
make the word of God the focus of your life, you will flourish exceedingly
because God never fails (Num. 23:19). Each time you use the word of God
concerning any situation of your life, God is bound to respond. God is in
control of all things but the word of God controls God Himself (Psalm 138:2).
When you apply the word of God into your situation, there will be
manifestation.
3.
THE
FORCE OF COMMITMENT.
God cannot see your commitment
and remain unmoved. Commitment to God is an honour done to Him (1Sam. 2:30). It
is not about going to Church, it’s about serving the Lord. You cannot serve the
Lord with your excess and not have excess. Your divine visitation is waiting
for your commitment!
4.
APPLY
YOUR EULOGIZE AND DIVINE REVERENCE.
You must learn how to always
praise God. Miracles wait at the other side of praise and worship. Praise God
in and out of season. The aroma of praise quickens up the heavenly reaction
that brings about divine intervention to our lives. Turn yourself into a praise
machine and God will turn His machine gun against your enemy.
There are so many things to
worry about in this world if you want to worry about them but you must make up
your mind not to worry over anything, rather praise God over everything – the
good times and the bad times. When you rise to praise God, He moves to bless!
5.
PRAYER
AND FASTING (2CHRO. 7:14-15).
Prayer is a condition for
God’s visitation. Life is battle; until you fight the battle of life, you
cannot have the victory. Certain spiritual exploits are not possible until you
engage in prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).
