Vibrant
means: energetic with life, vigor, or activity.
Life is placed in three strategic stages.
They differ
1. Childhood: The FORMATION PERIOD.
The period of indecision, rapid development.
2. Youthood: The vibrant zone. Cells
and organs are hyperactive.
3. Adulthood: Product of the choices
of Youthood.
The Youthful stage
Ø
It's
the most decisive period in the life of a man.
Ø
It's
the most vital and strategic.
Ø
As
such, it must be guided and guarded effectively and efficiently.
Ø
Below
are coded steps on how to effectively and efficiently use this period
1. Genuine
repentance and conversion
John 1:12:
Yet
to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the
right to become children of God.
2.
Resolve to live strictly by the
standard of the Word of God
Rev.2:5:
Consider
how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do
not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.
Mt. 4:4:
Jesus
answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not
live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.
3.
Develop Personal discipline:
1 Cor.9:24-26:
Do
you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?
Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone
who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown
that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not
fight like a boxer beating the air.
Job31:1:
"I
made a covenant with my eyes not
to look lustfully at a young woman.
Isa.33:14-15:
The sinners in
Zion are terrified; trembling
grips the godless: “Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can
dwell with everlasting burning?” Those who walk righteously and speak what is
right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting
bribes, who stop their ears against plots of murder and shut their eyes against
contemplating evil
4.
Show Commitment to a life of prayer:
Mt.26:41:
“Watch
and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but
the flesh is weak.”
5.
Choose Your friends wisely:
1Cor.15:33:
Do
not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”Come back to your senses
as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I
say this to your shame.
Prov. 13:20:
Walk
with the wise and become wise, for
a companion of fools suffers harm.
6.
Follow Jesus Christ our Perfect Example:
1Pet.2:21:
To
this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that
you should follow in his steps.
7.
Be open to your parents and guardians:
Prov.11:14:
"For
lack of guidance a nation falls, but
victory is won through many advisers."
8.
Be business minded:
"Learn at least
a skill that will enable you to be self employed, make, manage and multiply
money"
Gen. 1:11:
"Then
God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on
the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.”
And it was so."
Gen.8:22:
"As
long as the earth endures, seedtime and
harvest, cold and heat, summer
and winter, day and night will
never cease.”
9.
Build Capacity:
This is the process by which an individual
obtain, improve, and retain the skills, knowledge, tools, equipment and other
resources needed to do their jobs competently or to a greater capacity (larger
scale, larger audience, larger impact, etc).
the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not;
Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs. "For you will spread abroad
to the right and to the left And your descendants will possess nations And will
resettle the desolate cities.
10. Live
with eternity in view:
Ecc.11:9-10
You
who are young, be happy while you are young,
and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
Follow the ways of your heart and
whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these
things God will bring you into judgment. So then,
banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the
troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are
meaningless.
Ecc.12:1
Remember your
Creator in
the days of your youth, before the
days of trouble come and the years approach when you
will say, “I find no pleasure in them”
