"We are God’s workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us
to do."
Definition
of terms:
Culture:
· The
characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing
language, religion, social habits etc.
·
The set of shared attitudes,
values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution or organization.
·

or social practices associated with a particular field, activity, or societal
characteristic.
Commitment:
· An agreement or pledge to do
something in the future
· Something
pledged.
· An act of committing
to a charge or trust
Sacrifice:
There
are numerous definitions for this term, but the most acceptable by me is:
· To give up (something valued) for
the sake of other considerations.
leadership:
· The office
or position of a leader
· Capacity to
lead.
· The act or
an instance of leading.
I have a conviction that leadership goes way
beyond an individual's talent but:
Ø Your
beliefs,
Ø Your values,
Ø Your
mindsets, and
Ø Your
attitudes
Leadership
is more than a collection of tricks and techniques you employ to
accomplish your goals or those of the organization. Leadership is a calling
that asks you to invest in the lives of others, and in doing so, make
sacrifices along the way.
We shall discuss this using two
modules:
Module 1: Sacrifice
Module
2: Commitment
