- For us to overcome attacks by
flying arrows, we need to take the following step consistently and seriously:
1. PLEADING THE BLOOD OF JESUS FOR COVERING:
- The blood of Jesus remains the
greatest weapon against the devil that can never loose its potency and power. Revelation 12:11: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of
their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
2. FERVENCY IN PRAYER AND DILIGENT IN WARFARE PRAYER:
-We must be fervent in our
prayers at all times and be diligent in warfare prayers which should be
supported with fasting to challenge the devil and to undo all his activities in
our lives.
James 5:16-18: Confess your faults one to another, and pray
one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we
are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the
earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the
heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
3. CLEARING ALL THE LEGAL GROUNDS:
- Cancel all former agreements
with false prophets and occultist people. If you still have their properties
with you, pray very well and release all to a servant of God to destroy. A man
came to our meeting one day for deliverance, but was still keeping a special
perfume he received from a false prophet in his house. To the glory of God,
this secrete was revealed and he was asked to go and bring this material. We
burnt it in fire before he could totally be set free. Release all satanic
objects and materials within your reach for prayer. These include all objects
given to you for power, protection, or good fortune.
4. MAINTAINING A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST:
- Isaiah 54:17: No weapon that
is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against
thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of
the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
- Those who walk in God’s
righteousness has a covenant of peace, protection and power over their lives,
and because God is a covenant keeping God, the attacks of the devil can never
prevail over their lives.
5. EXTRACTING ALL ARROWS AND SENDING THEM BACK:
- All arrows that get into your
body by any means must be extracted by the power in the blood of Jesus and sent
back to the camp of the enemy. This is always evident by the taking away of
previous afflictions and oppressions from the devil.
6. PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD:
- As said before, the whole
armour of God is God’s provision for His children, it must be put on at all
times in order to be victorious against the wiles of the enemies.
7. HAVING NO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE WORKS OF DARKNESS:
- 2 Corinthians 6:14-18: Be ye
not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath
righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth
with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye
are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and
walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the
unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye
shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
- We must make up our minds to
live for God whole heartedly and consistently, if we will maintain our
deliverance and continue to enjoy His divine protection over our lives.
